"SpeeDS Fiesta", the brainchild of the young and dynamic Old Boys’ Association of D. S. Senanayake College is a novel racing event where people of all ages compete in a prokart race. This is the only prokart racing event in Sri Lanka open to the public. So it is a dream come true for racing enthusiasts both young and old alike.

This is an annual event organized by the Old Boys Association of D. S. Senanayake College – 1998 Batch. This sort of events would not only create interest and enthusiasm in the future racing drivers of Sri Lanka but also provide them with a chance to take part in a real race under real racing conditions. In the short term this would be a fundraiser while in the long term "SpeeDS Fiesta" would provide a launching pad for potential future racing drivers of the nation.
